Guides to Institute Records and Manuscript Collections

This collection contains Robert C.P. Coggeshall's (RPI Class of 1871) journal of a geological survey conducted by Henry B. Nason, May 1869. Also included is an annotated transcription of the journal by Coggeshall's great granddaughter, Martha Leonard, dated 2017. Other items in this collection are a photograph of Coggeshall, circa 1880, and a calling card and RPI commencement invitation from Othniel Foster Nichols (RPI Class of 1868).
